Our production of ‘Six’ took to the stage at the end of February, with three thrilling performances all starting at 6pm!

Featuring a live band and a cast of talented performers, this musical didn’t drop a beat throughout! Moving seamlessly between songs, we are so proud of the execution and professionalism shown in the display from our students.

Divorced, beheaded, live! Is the tagline of this modern show, which first premiered in 2017. Recounting the lives of the six queens of Henry VII, the musical transported audiences back to Tudor times and gave them a chance to share their stories.

Forming a competition, the show asks the audience to decide who had the worst experience being married to Henry, as the six recount their untold experiences and try to one-up each other. Each queen believes they were treated worse than the last but ultimately Catherine Parr, the one surviving queen, questions this narrative and identifies how they all are much more interesting than just their marriage to Henry. Realising they should embrace their own individuality, the wives abandon their competition and decide to sing together as a group, writing their own “happily ever after” and celebrating themselves.

A huge thank you to all the members of our teams involved in producing this production. Our inspiring students continue to prove they are out of this world, fostering their talents to produce theatre-filling shows. Backed up by our team of musicians forming the live band, we only grow more excited to see what our next production brings!
