Thetford Academy Class of 2023 Celebrate at Prom!

On the evening of Friday 7th July, Year 11 students were excited to celebrate the end of their final exams and the end of their secondary education at their Prom!

The event took place at the beautiful Applewood Hall in Banham, which was decorated with fairy lights and balloons. The weather was ideal with clear blue skies and sunshine, making it the perfect day to take photos against the gold shimmer wall photo backdrop.

Students arrived in style including a VW camper van, a Dodge Charger police car, and a JCB tractor. 140 students attended the end-of-school celebration, with students entering the venue via a red carpet, to be whisked off for photos in front of the shimmer wall!

Students enjoyed dressing up fun in the photo booth with friends, as well as the delights of the chocolate fountain, and a help-yourself sweet shop.

Students voted for their best dressed, class clown, and biggest bromance, before the King and Queen of the prom were announced. The students then partied late into the night with the dance floor packed all evening.
